Important elements about the War against Iran

Here are several things about the war against Iran:
1. Based on recent statements, NATO does not seem willing to send military assistance to the United States to keep the Strait of Hormuz open, which continues to be targeted by Iranian bombardments against merchant ships not heading to China.
2. Iran has slightly increased its oil exports since the war began two weeks ago.
3. Iran’s new government shows no signs of backing down, unlike Venezuela’s government did, so the war does not appear likely to end soon.
4. The more than 400 kg of uranium enriched to 60% that Iran possesses, which made it very close to being able to start building a nuclear bomb (90% enrichment is needed), have not been destroyed by U.S./Israeli bombardments.
5. While the issue of Iran’s uranium remains unresolved, Trump has said he does not rule out sending ground troops into the war.
6. Iran’s war strategy has been based on launching large numbers of relatively cheap drones (about $20,000 each) against U.S. assets in the Gulf, in order to exhaust the anti-air defense reserves of U.S. allies in the region, with the additional factor that it can cost up to $1 million to attempt to shoot down each Iranian drone.
7. The anti-air systems of U.S. allies have had a little over 90% effectiveness, and Iranian missile and drone attacks have been distributed as follows:
🇦🇪 UAE — 1797 (48.7%)
🇰🇼 Kuwait — 600 (16.3%)
🇧🇭 Bahrain — 350 (9.5%)
🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia — 300 (8.1%)
🇶🇦 Qatar — 230 (6.2%)
🇴🇲 Oman — 16 (0.4%)
🇮🇱 Israel — 400 (10.8%)
8. U.S. allies in the Gulf have been the most heavily hit by Iranian missiles, partly due to their geographical proximity, and also as part of a strategy to destabilize the global economy.
